Production of Our Horror Title Sequence
For our horror film title sequence, over the past few weeks we have been in production for our rough draft. We have finished filming footage that we plan to use in the rough cut, most footage we will use for our final cut but others many need adjusting/re-filming due to lost footage or not having equipment. We have faced these problems already in our production, where some of our footage was lost and needs re-filming. Some ideas we have won't make it to the rough cut but may be used in the final one. To film and edit we have used lesson time and stayed after school to use the drama department and lights. We have selected costumes, lighting and editing styles to fit with the horror theme we want that matches with our film idea. We want the editing to be fast paced, choppy and unsure. This leaves an element of mystery and intrigue for our film, but we must also make the clips relevant. We have also tried to create our own music but this may have to be delayed till after the rough cut; for now we shall use 'Death' from Under the Skin along with our footage to see the effect of music. We are currently in the process of editing all our footage together and adding the titles.
