Before handing in our coursework
our group decided to remove the original opening
sequence to our horror movie
opening. This was the slo motion build up
to the delivery room sign. we felt
that even with editing it still wasn't
up to our standard of the film and
we not satisfied.
The tint of the film did not seem
to contrast with the rest of the sequence, this scene was a dark tint of green
however the rest was a bright white colour with a higher depth of field.
The media technician Katie
came up with an alternative idea of having just a recorded sound instead of
having any image.
We then recorded the sound of me
giving birth to a child
with words of
encouragement.
The group had agreed that this was
an improved idea and contrasted well with the rest of the film.
