Feedback for Final Improvements

We asked a few people of our target audience to review how are title sequence looks now. There are still improvements that are yet to be made but this feedback will help us to know if our audience is interested/understands our film.

"Definitely. It looks like psychological gore, really messed up, which interests me because it seems more controversial and moves away from the stereotypical 'ghost story' narrative."

What age do you think this film would be rated? Do you think our target audience matches the film?
"It wouldn't be lower than a 15, it would be an 18 if it had more gore. The target audience is highly appropriate, I can tell it is aimed at a more 'niche' audience"

"Possibly make the story more clear by adding speech"

 "Yes! I feel like I could really relate to the girl in it because she is a similar age to me. I also like horror films and ones that stray away from conventional jump scares, it's something different which I like."

What age do you think this film would be rated? Do you think our target audience matches the film?

"I think it would be a 15 maybe the full film would be an 18 depending on how much blood and distress of the girl, I think that's quite disturbing. It's also a touchy subject which could give it an 18 certificate."

Are there any improvements you would suggest?

"Re-ilm the start I think it looks a bit rushed and try neatening the colouring to make it look less edited and more natural."

Filming Issues

Today we encountered issues with filming our door scene. First of all, it was raining which made it difficult to carry the equipment safely. Also, there were no plugs for the lights and the memory card was missing from the camera. As its midday, there were students and walking in and out. We have rescheduled filming to Monday.

Voice Over Script

We created a short script for our voice over in the opening sequence. This makes it easier to record the audio and to remember how it should be set out.

Adding Foley

We added some foley sound effects to our opening.
We downloaded them and then put them onto the cut.
For example we found a glove snapping and pouring water.
